The Nippon Suiseki Association held its 5th Japan Suiseki Exhibition in the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum Tokyo Metropolitan Museum is located in the Ueno district, where a lot of other heritage sites are located. The edifice was built on 1926, and was designed by Kunio Maekawa (1905-1986). Exhibits are often changed depending on the events, genres, etc. the museum wishes to display. Aside from its usual galleries, there are areas that can be rented in which temporary exhibitions are held. Tonet, together his wife, Malou, had the opportunity to showcase the beauty of Philippine stones that can be used in the art of suiseki. His entry, the "Collared Pup", went through thorough screening and high standards of the Nippon Suiseki Association. It is one of the many entries from international collectors.
